| "Another interesting order..." |
On 26 August 2009, Triview secured another interesting order from the Dutch Ministry of Defence. This time the assignment concerns the digitisation of spoken texts and the translation of software related to a Computer Based Training programme for new GPS navigation equipment.
Bij For this project, the spoken texts are to be converted into generic XML files, which can then be translated. Once translated, the texts will be reloaded in the CBT module with the aid of Voice Over Technique. To guarantee the quality and consistency of the translations, the texts will be translated directly from the software source files by means of a special translation module.
In recent years, Triview has gained considerable expertise in the digitisation of complex documentation such as handwritten texts, bad quality hardcopy and sound fragments. In cases where the standard OCR applications cannot meet the requirements, Triview offers a solution whereby the material can still be digitised, and at highly competitive prices. Another advantage that our solution offers with respect to the standard OCR process is that you will receive ‘clean’ content without columns and other contamination, such as sections and the like.
